Border City shifts to the City's East Side

The Border City Boxing Club moved locations. The Club, formerly located at the Harmony in Action building in Remington Park, was now in its own building in the 2800 block of Tecumseh Road East. Club hours remained the same, Monday-Friday from 5-7 PM and Club Manager Bill White and Head Coach Doug Bedard welcomed all to see the new facility.

Santia and Plante Represent Border City in Detroit

After several years away from ring competition, Border City Head Coach Doug Bedard took Ricardo Santia to Detroit for a return to action. Santia won by unanimous decision as his sparring partner, former Canadian Champion Josh Canty, cheered from the audience. Also representing Border City was John Plante who dropped a unanimous decision in his debut bout.
